Greetings everyone.

Many of you know, last year, I was in Peru for a 12-day trip of a lifetime.

Hiking the Inka Trail was an adventure that would take me hours to explain. It was definitely one of the most difficult things I have ever done, but at the same time, one of the most rewarding. It's only because I've been taking better care of myself the last couple of years that I was able to accomplish such a feat. It felt good!

Hiking to the top of a mountain and standing there to enjoy the beauty is something I've been trying to do as part of a new commitment to a healthier lifestyle. Whether it's Mt. Charleston, Red Rock or sweating at a kickboxing class, they are all mountains to conquer in my world.

No matter what your age or your physical handicaps, try pushing yourself to the limit now and then. It will be worth the effort, and bring joy to this thing we call life.
